1. Authorized Use of Costumes

All costumes provided or rented by SIMA Ballet Folklórico are exclusively for use at SIMA-approved events, performances, competitions, and activities. Costumes may not be worn, used, loaned, or displayed at any non-SIMA event or personal activity without prior authorization from SIMA's directors.

2. Unauthorized Use and Confiscation

Any student found wearing or using a SIMA costume outside of an approved SIMA event without prior authorization will be subject to immediate costume confiscation. Additional disciplinary action may be taken at the discretion of the directors.

3. Costume Care and Condition

Students and their parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that all assigned costumes are handled with care and maintained in good condition throughout the season. All costumes must be returned clean, complete, and undamaged, including all accessories and assigned pieces.

4. Fees and Disciplinary Consequences

Failure to comply with this policy, including unauthorized use, loss, damage, or failure to return costumes in the required condition, may result in additional charges for cleaning, repairs, replacement, or other applicable costs. Violations may also result in suspension from future costume rentals or the loss of costume rental privileges.

5. Seasonal Costume Assignment and Return

All costumes assigned to students are intended for use throughout the designated dance season. Students are responsible for keeping their assigned costumes safe and in good condition for the duration of the season. All costumes must be returned to SIMA Ballet Folklórico at the end of the season, on the date and according to the instructions established by the directors.

Costumes may not be kept, altered, exchanged, or disposed of without prior authorization from SIMA's directors.

6. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By accepting a costume from SIMA Ballet Folklórico, students and their parents or legal guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this policy. Failure to comply may result in additional charges and restrictions on future costume rentals.
