What Are the Expenses?
Participating in this competition represents a valuable opportunity for our dancers. It will allow them to experience something different, strengthen their discipline, confidence, and teamwork, and proudly represent SIMA Ballet Folklórico.
It is important to clarify that each family will be responsible for covering the travel expenses and personal costs of their dancer during the competition. These may include, as applicable:

Private lessons.

Transportation to and from the event.

Lodging.

Personal expenses for the dancer and accompanying family members.

Any other expenses the family incurs during the trip.

Food and beverages.

Registration fees or any individual fee related to participation.
As an organization, we will provide the necessary information regarding schedules, performances, locations, logistics, and activities so that each family can plan ahead.
We want to be very transparent: each dancer’s participation will depend on their family’s ability to assume these expenses and responsibilities, as SIMA will not be covering individual travel expenses for participants.
Our goal is for this experience to be positive, organized, and, above all, for our children and young dancers to enjoy it, learn from it, and proudly represent our community.
We greatly appreciate your commitment, support, and willingness to continue providing our dancers with opportunities that contribute to their artistic and personal growth.

We want the competition to be a tool for personal and artistic development—not simply a competitive event.

Participation and Class Process
Step 1 – Selection of Discipline
The student will choose the discipline or activity they would like to participate in, based on their interests and abilities.
Step 2 – Teacher Assignment
We will make every effort to assign the student their preferred teacher. If the selected teacher does not have availability in their schedule, the student will be assigned to another teacher who has an available time slot to work with them.
Step 3 – Class Duration and Frequency
The student will have one class per week. The teacher will be responsible for informing the student and their parents when the established class period has been completed.
The program includes approximately 12 weeks of training, during which the student will have the opportunity to develop their skills, gain new knowledge, and progress within their chosen discipline.
